military officer

I am an up and coming military officer in college. Fortunately I have had many chances to speak in public. Whenever I have to deliver a report or even answer a question in class the moment right before,my heart begins to beat rapidly, and when my words finally do escape my mouth, they are delivered in a shaky tone. I can not go on like this. I am a senior and I am constantly hearing people telling me that I need to have more confidence in myself. I do have confidence believe me. I am afraid that this will really hender my military career, what soldier would take my shaky voice serious?
